# Introduction to NeoCandy

NeoCandy ($CANDY) is a NEP-17 token and was one of the first tokens deployed to the N3 mainnet.

After the N2 to N3 upgrade, there was the idea to create a fun community token that anyone could get when using the newly built dApps. It was a way to celebrate the N3 launch and all its unique features. 

Over time NeoCandy grew more prominent, and more utilities were added, and it became much more than just the "fun project" that it once was.

Furthermore, the project aims to attract users beyond the NEO ecosystem by distributing the tokens for free via faucet games, weekly giveaways, airdrops, or project collaborations. 

NeoCandy is a project with NFT/Metaverse/DeFi utilities and a growing and active community!
